Abstract

  • The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in March 2021 increased compared to February 2021, namely from US $ 739.34 million to US $ 1.04 billion or an increase of 40.86 percent. When compared to March 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 62.37 percent
  • The categories of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value in North Sumatra in March 2021 against February 2021 were the animal / vegetable fats and oils with a value of US $ 235.12 million (99.45%).
  • Exports to China in March 2021 were the largest at US $ 161.84 million, followed by the United States at US $ 143.81 million and Russia at US $ 55.87 million with the contribution of the three reaching 34.71 percent.
  • According to the main group of export destination countries in March 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 352.10 (37.16%)
